Another Milestone

I still don't have a camera, but I wanted to post the new milestone me and Kensley have come to this week. Every night I put her in her bad, say good night, give her a kiss and a hug and then walk out of the room. She is usually waving goodbye and saying "night, night" as I leave. I shut the door and then never hear another word out of her! It is the most amazing thing that has happened to date. For those of you who know any of our history, you will know how amazing this feat is. It has been so nice to have an easy baby to put to sleep. Now, if we could only work on her crawling into bed with me most mornings around five a.m.!!

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day we had to settle for sending Stephen a care package and a phone call to say we love him and miss him. I sent him some pj's to tell him how awesome we think he is. :o)


We also wanted to remind him how awesome the family he has left behind are, we sent him a picture of us in our "awesome" pj's.

Mother of the Year

I lost my mother of the year nomination today. I was trying to get out the door to run some errands and Kensley wouldn't come to me so I could put her shoes on. I got frustrated and grabbed her arm, pulling it out of its socket. I even heard it pop. She spent the next hour in tears refusing to move her arm. She was obviously in pain and Stephen told me I needed to take her to the doctor. So, I did and the doctor said it was really common, but that I should be more careful. :o( It was so sad and I have felt so horrible ever since. She just sat there as still as possible and every time I even hinted of making a move, she would start crying all over again. Now that everything is back in place, she is acting as if nothing ever happened. On a side note, all of our digital cameras are broken for some reason so there probably won't be anymore pictures for a while until I can get the situation remedied. :o(
