Doctor's Visit
Kensley had her 15-month well check at the doctor's office yesterday. She is almost 16 months now so it was a little late. It was such a sad visit for Kensley. She cried everytime the nurse or doctor came near her, even before the shots came out. They couldn't even look at her without her crying. She must have known what was coming, three shots! So sad. We are so mean to our babies. She took a nap right when we got home and seemed fine. Later that evening, she suddenly started crying like she was in some kind of pain and wouldn't even walk. I gave her some Ibuprofen and had to hold her for about 30 minutes while she cried. After that she was fine. She weighed in at 22 lbs 3.5 oz and was 32.5 inches long. She is just under the 50th percentile in weight and in the 95th percentile for height! I was surprised that she is tall! :o)

Hi Theresa! It's Juanita. I visit your site quite often. It's not fun to take our kids to the doctors. I remember when I took my son as a baby and I never liked to see him cry. It always hurt me to see him cry. Your daughter is growing up to be a beautiful little girl. I still have the pics from her first smile and the pic you sent out from her blessing. I'm glad your are doing well. Take care.
